STAT-USA/Internet

STAT-USA/Internet is a one-stop resource for federal business, economic and trade news. It contains full-text documents, with an emphasis on the U. S. economy and international trade activities. Many of these documents can be found elsewhere on the Internet, but STAT-USA provides a way to search and use them via a single interface. For many of the international trade documents, STAT-USA is the only way to access them online.

One part of STAT-USA, State of the Nation (SOTN), is the place to look for the latest economic news releases from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Census, Federal Reserve Board and others. SOTN also contains current and historical and data on economic indicators, housing and construction, employment, manufacuturing and industry, monetary statistics and economic policy. SOTN provides online versions of the Survey of Current Business, the Federal Reserve Board's Beige Book, statements and testimonies, and much more.

The second part of STAT-USA, the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB), contains current and historical international trade statistics (imports and exports), announcements of trade opportunities and market analysis. Some of the more popular reports that can be found in the NTDB include the Best Market Reports, Country Commercial Guides, Daily Trade Opportunities, Industry Sector Analysis and International Market Insight Reports.
