Mergent Online (formerly FISonline)is a database of public company information, the electronic equivalent of the well-known Moody's manuals. Mergent Online includes records for 10,000+ US public companies and 14,000+ international companies. Individual company information includes a history and business description, listings of officers and directors, information about properties and subsidiaries, details on capital stock and ownership, and up to 10 years of easily downloadable financial reports. Mergent Online also offers real-time SEC filings, a facility for building reports that compare companies' financials, and country profiles from the World Factbook.
