Industry Norms & Key Business Ratios Online is used to compare company financial data against industry norms and ratios. It allows users to study investment/credit risk of companies and industries, industry trends, and an individual company's strengths and weaknesses in terms of profitability and efficiency.

This online version includes 14 categories for comparison--line items from company financial statements like total assets and total liabilities, as well as the ratios D&B calculates for users that help them understand how credit-worthy, well-managed and profitable a company is when compared to others in its industry. The data is made available in an Excel-based application which can be downloaded or printed. Users may type in their own company's financial data, and have the software complete a customized report. The "back files" of past industry norms starts in 1999 and will continue forward.
